Plan a trip to Playa del Carmen with your family:

When I was planning my vacation last year, one of my friends suggested Playa del Carmen, a small and lively beach town in Mexico, near Cancun. My family and I was thrilled to spend our vacation in this breezy beach town and wanted to see the historical Mayan ruins.  When it came to plan lodging, my friend suggested me to try condos in Playa del Carmen. We took a flight to Cancun International Airport, and then we hired an authorized airport taxi, since we had luggage and I was accompanied by my wife and two kids.  The driver was very courteous and helpful.  It is very safe to travel by airport taxis in Cancun as a union controls the fares and the selection of authorized drivers.  Taxi charged us US$65; however if you are on a budget trip then you may opt for buses too, which are frequent from Cancun airport to main bus terminal on 5th Avenue and Juarez, Playa del Carmen.  The bus would charge anywhere around $7 per person.

After we got down at 5th Avenue, we started looking for condos in Playa del Carmen.  We ended up getting lodging in Playa del Carmen in a nice beachside condo in just $200.  When we entered into the condo we were thrilled to find its spacious living room, kitchen and bathroom. It was accompanied by an Italian restaurant which was more than helpful to serve us.  Everyone in the staff from maids to the receptionist was very courteous and cooperative.  The view of the beach from the condo was amazing.  This was going to be our best international vacation so far.

If you are accompanied by your family, your best choice would be condos in Playa del Carmen.  My kids enjoyed the condo more than the hotel accommodation.  So the next time you are planning a vacation to this beach town, choose beachside condos as the best lodging Playa del Carmen. Two days later we left for Chichen Itza to see Mayan ruins.
